1. PURPOSE:

To ensure appropriate level of production.

2. SCOPE:

This SOP is applicable for Tablet Packing Hall only.

3. RESPONSIBILITY:

Section Incharge & Supervisor are responsible for implementation of this SOP.

4. PROCEDURE

   1. First of all perform the GMP of Area and Belt.

   2. Properly identify all the materials for packing.

   3. Check the cartons and strips for Batch No’s, Manufacturing Date, Expiry Date and Price of the product.

   4. Get line clearance from QA inspectors.

   5. Turn “on” the Belt and follow the packing directions from the belt supervisor.

   6. Before starting the Packing check the strips for damaged or broken tablets, such strips shall not be packed.

   7. After checking, pack the strips in the carton with leaflet or other inserts if required.

   8. At the end of the belt make a bundle of 10 cartons with the help of Rubber band and pack it in the shipper provided for the said product.

   9. Stick the finished product label on the final shipper and place the shipper on finished product pellet.

   10. Transfer the rejected strips to re-opening cubical.

   11. Transfer the product to F.G.S and make two copies of “Finished Goods delivery Slip”. Send one copy of Finished Goods Delivery Slip” to Incharge FGS and other will be attached with the Batch history. Also perform the entry in the production register.
